All three sethons participated in a balanced progiamme throughout the
year and took part In District. County and Nl events.

The Group meets the Charity Commission's public benefit cnteria vnder
both the advancement ol e(lucation and ￿ advancement of citizenship or
community development headings.

Summary of the main aCh￿veMentS of
the charity during the year
8eavers - We held our annual Sleepover al the end April 2023 at Lome
Guide Centre and CoMp￿ted a number of outdoor activitie5 which counted
towafds the Outdoor and Adventure Challenge Awards. Before we finished
al end of May we were able to award 4 ChÈf Scout's Bronze Awards
Resuming In September 2023 hehd a nature walk for the Explore badge
an(f also completed the Teamwork Challenge and Health and Fitness
badge. In October we hekl a Halloween party wlh the Cubs and in
November we had a visit from Kidz fam and completed the Faith badge
and Expenmenl badge December saw our Chnstmas paty and OLtrr usual .
visit to the Panlo In January the PSNI helped us ￿th the Safety badge. we
learned about Chinese New Year and worked on more Challenge Awards
Cubs - The Cub scouts over the year 2023 to 2024 have carried out work
on a number of badges we also had a nw3ht hike at Hazelbank and a s￿p
over which follo%%£d a Inp to Beffast Zoo. The Cubs all have h8d a great
time and worked hard on badges as v*ll as having lots of fun.
Scouts - This year our Scout Group delivered a diverse and engaging
programme that supported young Peop￿ In aCh￿Ving vartrous badges
across The Scoul ASsoc￿t￿n,$ activity and challenge framewoth, Including
skills-based. outdoor and community-focused awards. H￿hINjhts of the
yeai InclLbded partiupaling In excitsng camps hekd In Newcastbe Bangor,
and Belfast. where yOLtng people developed leamwolk. les11￿n￿. and
Independen￿ These eXpe￿n￿S provided opportunit￿S fr)r personal
