||Daywith the Beavers. Activities included pioneering, orienteering,|
||emergency aid, dance,acampfire and some games.|
||ThenextScouting yearkickedoff withafew Cubs taking partin atree|
||initiativeonthe Cavehillonawet Saturday afternoon.|
||challenge badges, the making anduse ofplaydoughtocraft our|
||system followed. Thenavisitto thegroup from the recycling officer of|
||Antrim and Newtownabbey BoroughCouncil.|
||Cubsthen took partina district night hikeatWoodburnDamn.We|
||our annual Halloween party before breakingupforhalftermand|
||yearwas seenoutwithavisit from Aunt Sandra's sweet shop, anoisy|
||rum circle andadistrict10pin bowling competition where the Cubs retained|
||Scouts-Thisyearthe Scouts took partinavarieOprogiahrnerncludhg|
||numerous camps.Wehad twocampsinNewcasile,both ofthese developed|
||cooking, survival and pioneering skills.Numerous badges were|
||andmanywere working towards their Chief ScoutGoldAward.|
||also participatedin Districtand Northern lreland events. Our Scouts|
