LIMAVADY EVENTIDE CLUB.

TRUSTEES REPORT FOR YEAR ENDING MARCH 2017.
The club has continued to function since its original inception in 1961. Membership has grown by one member over the past year, but that has been minimised by the retirement of two members. The membership is multi religion,(everyone is welcome), and several members have varying degrees of disability. The objectives have been met. There were no incidents or injuries.
Club activities continue as before, with a summer outing, and meal, (usually to destination of members’ choice) and a Christmas Entertainment, (This year was a Country And Western concert.), and Christmas Dinner at a local hotel. Each member receives a calendar, with a novelty pen or similar at the Christmas Dinner. Weekly activities progress, with keen competition for leading places in the games, with a trophy at the end of the year. Bingo draws its enthusiasts.
The club remains in a reasonable state financially, having benefitted from a Grant from The Honourable The Irish Society. This grant was sought to help with Christmas Entertainment. As the club is self financing, every penny is welcome. Cost of transport remains our highest cost. Finance is derived from sale of supper, member donations, and a monthly raffle, (confined to members).
The future aim is to increase membership.
