MAGUIRESBRIDGE VILLAGE & RURAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION TRUSTEES REPORT – YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2023
Objectves & Actvites:
Our main objectives and activity as a group this year was organizing and having our Annual Christmas Switch On event which was the first time since Covid 19 that we were all able to come together as a community. As an organization we met several times during the year to organize and plan this event as well as discussing other matters concerning the community.
Achievement & Performances:
Our main achievement this year was our Annual Christmas Lights switch on event. This event was very well attended by all the community and was enjoyed by both young and old alike. The children enjoyed the arrival of Santa and the distribution of a small gift while everyone else enjoyed the entertainment provided by our local DJ and local Silver Band.
Financial Review:
We relied mainly on the grant from Fermanagh & Omagh District Council. We also did a full days collectng in the local community to raise funds for new Christmas lights which was very successful. The end of year closed with a bank balance of £8462.30
