Tullygarley Mission Hall For the year ended 31 December 2023 Trustees Report Tullygarley Mission Hall exists to provide the beneficiaries of the charity Wlth access to public worship within the Tullygarley area of Ballymena. The beneficiaries of the charity are those livingwithin theTullygarley Area of Ballymena. The benefits to beneficiaries include a moral improvement within local society. reduced social isolation and the provision of public meetings for worship. Through these itfosters and encourages the spiritual development of its members and attenders. This will in turn lead to local involvement and further charitable work bythe members. These benefits are evidenced through attendance at public meetings of worship and our annual seasonal events. This purpose does not give rise to any harm. There are no private benefits forTrustees arising from this purpose. Tullygarley Mission Hall is governed by a Trust Deed. In setting our objectives and planning our activities forthe year the trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity Commission Nl's guidance on public benefit to ensure that the activities have helped to achieve the charl￿S purposes and provide a benefitto the beneficiaries. Tullygarley Mission Hall holds a Sunday evening Gospel seNice two Sunday's each month from 6-7pm. The prayer meeting is held everyTuesday evening. The mission hall closes duringthe months of July and August. The bank balance at the beginning of Iti¢ financiolyoar (01_01.?3) totalled £3,372.64. The total income during 2023 amounted to £6,099.47 and the toiai expenditure during 2023 amounted to £4.100.53. The bank balance at the year-end (31.12.23) totalled 5.371.58. Respective responsibilities of Trustees and Examiner As the charity's trustees you are responsible forthe preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charities Act (Nl) 2008. It is my responsibilityto: examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act to follow the procedures laid down in the general directions given by the Charity Comrnission under section 65 (9)(b) of the Charities Act state whether particular matters have come to my attention Basis of Independent Examiner's statement I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and an examination was carried out in accordance with the general directions given by the Charity Commission Nl under section 65 (9)(b) of the Charities Act. The examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented With those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees concerning any such matters.
