**Purposes:** The Association is established for the advancement of education of people in Coleraine (hereinafter called the “area of benefit”) without distinction of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion, by associating the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and in particular to:  a.	Provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants:  b.	To establish or support any charitable trusts, associations or institutions that the committee may decide.
