CARLETON STREET COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION Charity Number NIC 103727 Annual General Meeting 12 August 2024 Mr William Partridge vice chairperson welcomed everyone to the meeting. Apologies were received from Mr Billy Laverty, Mr Cardwell Mcclure, Mr Tom Lyttle and Mr Ronnie Corkin. Mr George Laverty read the minutes of the 2023 AGM and these were approved by the meeting. Reports". Mr Partridge Tead a report of the past years activities which included various joint ventures with the Carleton Over 50s Association and Portadown Heritage Tours. These included visits to various venues including a BBQ in June and a big breakfast in February, a Christmas dinner and dance in the Arn]agh City Hotel and a quiz night in the Hall. All of which were enjoyed by our members and helped to keep them in good spirits. The treasureT presented the financial report for the year ended 31 March 2024 to the meeting highlighting the Grant of £IO,000 received in the previous financial year from the National Lottery Fund for improvements to the disabled toilet facilities on the ground floor and the gent's toilet. These improvements had now been carried out and were a tremendous benefit to alI our members. All conlmitments had been met and the bank b￿ance on 31 March 2024 was £1729. We are very grateful for all grants received. The accounts were verified and approved. All positions were declared vacant, and the election of the officers and committee took place rcsulting as recorded in the attached list. Any other business: It was agreed that a committee meeting should take place early next month to discuss future events and funding opportunities. Those present wer¢ encouraged to maintain contact with some of our members who were housebound or unable to travel to any of our functions or meetings.
