Stewartstown Amateur Dramatic Society Annual General Meeting                        April 24 th 2018 

The Minutes of last year’s AGM were agreed and signed. 

The Secretary’s report on the past year was read, agreed and signed. 

The Treasurer’s report on the past year was read, agreed and signed. 

The following were elected: 

Chairman: Pat Smith 

Secretary: John Glendinning 

Assistant secretary: Susie Wilson 

Treasurer: James Glendinning 

PRO: Janice Gibson 

Child Protection Officer: Eileen Devlin 

Committee members: Alan Burrows, Julie Burrows, Amy Clarke, Nicola Coyle, Susan McElhennon , Paula Smith. 

It was agreed that Brian Morgan should be Director of the pantomime for Jan 2019. 

## Chairman’s Remarks 

Pat Smith commented that last year’s pantomime was a great success and that he was eagerly 

looking forward to next year’s performance and the Gala Dinner to follow in May. 

## The Office 

It was agreed that an office should be set up to include office equipment already purchased i.e. 

desk, chair, computer, data projector, printer. Susie Wilson will be office manager. 

## Ticket Prices 

The ticket prices for the forthcoming pantomime will be: Adult £11, Child £9. 



## Scenery 

Grainne Laverty and Julie Ann McIntyre will assist in the design and production of scenery. 

Hiring out of scenery 

This year some organisations have made use of the Dramatic Society’s scenery and costumes. It was felt that a rate for hiring needed to be set. This will be discussed with Gerry Lynch of Mid Ulster Council. 

Start date 

It was decided that work should start on scenery and costumes in the early summer. 

Wardrobes 

More hanging rails are required. 

This concluded the business of the AGM.
