Governance
Ballee Parish is part of The Church of Ireland Benefice in a Grouped Parish known as the Lecale Area Mission Partnership (LAMP). The governing document is the Constitution of the Church of Ireland. This document lays out conditions that must be fulfilled in order to be members of the Register of General Vestrypersons. At the Annual Easter General Vestry this list of Registered Vestrypersons elect from its membership those who shall be the Select Vestry for the incoming year.
Financial Review
The Parish benefits from the generous support from Parishioners through Freewill Offering. We continue to operate at a deficit. The Parish does benefit from time to time through one off gifts and through legacies, but these are impossible to budget for. The Charity has reserves. The trustees are cognisant of the need to improve regular giving and develop fundraising activities as a long term and sustainable way forward. It is likely that 2024 will see a one off reduction in payments to the LAMP Ministry while there is no rector.
The Accounts of the Charity were received and discussed, and the activities of the Charity reviewed, at the General Vestry Meeting held in Ballee Parish Church on ???
