l. Welcome And Introduction
Chairperson Paddy McLaren welcomed all members who attended the AGM and
thanked them for their attendance. Paddy did notice that all that turned up for the AGM,
was the current members of the board. Paddy noted that the attendance of our AGM
over the past few years has been declining. On that note. Operations Officer Diolain
Ward proposed the idea of holding our AGM Bi-Annually, due to lack of attendance
across the club. The board was in agreement with Diolain's proposal. - AGM now to be
held Bl-Annually.
11. Night At The Races Fundralser For Blackpool Trip
Operations Officer Diolain Ward updated the board on how our Night At The Races
Fundraiser is coming along. Diolain told the board that at the minute we currently have 8
out of 11 races completely sold, Committee Advisor Joe Doherty told Diolain that the
Dohety family would also sponsor a race. Overall Diolain said that things are looking
good and that it is shaping up to be a great nights craic.
111. Burkey Cup Update
Operations Officer Diolain Ward would like to plan a meeling with Vice-President
Raymond Carton to discuss the dates for the 2023 Burkey Cup and then get it out on
social media ASAP. Chairperson Paddy McLaren made a point from last years
competition when Trojans had to play a preliminary match to get into the Burkey Cup
due to the luck of the draw. Paddy believes that there is no way that Trojans should have
to play in a preliminary fixture for the Burkey Cup, and that we should be the f irst game
opening the competition after the preliminary round.

Vice-President Raymond Carton updated the board on the sponsorship of the Burkey
Cup. Raymond informed us that he has been trying to get in contact with Vogue Car
Sales to see if they wish to be the main sponsor of this years competition, to which he
has no response back from. Raymond has also thought about asking Impact-Nl would
they be interested in being this years tournaments main sponsor.
