Activities
The Trust is established to support by means of financial assistance any charitable project for the advancement of religion, the relief of poverty and the advancement of education in Kenya and its environs in Africa (the "area of benefit") and in particular to: 1. Support the charitable work of The Least of These, Huruma Orphanage, Niakara/Narok Medical Dispensary, Kericho/Lorraine School and other charities from time to time whose objects are similar to those of this Trust; 2. Promote awareness among the general public of the work undertaken by the Dorcas Trust within the area of benefit; 3. Promoting the theological and spiritual training of potential leaders of the churches of Africa in co-operation with the European Theological Seminary. 4. The recruitment, selection and sending out of volunteers for short term service within the area of benefit.
