Charltable Purpose
The Association is established to: 2.1 relieve poverty. sickness and the aged and to promote
the benefit of the inhabitants of the Fivemiletown area and district area of Co. Tyrone and
its environs (hereinafter described as "the area of benefiv) without distinction of age,
gender, race, political, religious or other opinion, by associating the statutory authorities,
voluntary organi5ations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and to

occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
Oblectlves
To run a number of different actniities for the residents in our community. We hope to
improve the services and facilities in our estates for our residents.
Achlevements and Performance
Throughout the year Fivemiletown Estates Group provided the following:
Group members attended Interagency meetings and Estate Inspections with representatives
from the Hou5in8 Executive, Mid Ulster Council, and the PSNI. Issues such as dog fouling, play
facilities, maintenance issues, road and footpaths. Anti-social behaviour, etc are often
discussed. FEG find these Estate Inspertions and meetings particularly useful in terms of
getting action on issues raised by residents and tenants.
FEG group members continued to raise community issues with agencies at local and regional
meetings which included:
The Housing Community Network
The Rural Residents Forum
The South Regional Housing Forum
The South Regional Scrutiny Panes
The Trustees have had due regard to the Commission's Public Benefit requirement and no
harm was caused in the provision of above activities.
Flnanclal Review
A significant portion of the expenditure for the financial year 2023/2024 was attributed to
bank charges and insurance as FEG continued Its recovery from the impact of the Covid-19
pandemic. The local community remained cautious about participating in activities and
event5, which has affected engagement levels throughout this year, however, we are pleased
to report that we received funding from Awards for All during this period. This support
provides a strong foundation, and we are hopeful that community participation will begin to
increase in the coming year as confidence continues to build.

The charity will continue to explore local fundraising initiatives, while also seeking external
funding opportunitie5 where appropriate. All income is used solely to support the charitable
purposes outlined within this report.
