BASIS QF FINANCIALSTATEMENTS
A5 the total Income of the congregation is le55 than £250,000 the congregation have elected in accordance with the provisions in The Charities
(Accounts and Reports Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015 to prepare its accounts on a receipt5 and payment5 ba515.
FUND ACCOUNTING
Endowment fund5 are funds, the c3Pltal of which must be retained elther permanently or at the congregation's discretion,. the incorne derived from
Ihe endowment is to be used either as restricted or unrestricted Income fund5 depending upon the purpose for which the endowment wa5 established
in the first place.
Restricted funds comprlse lal income frorn endowments which is to be expended only on the restrlcted purposes intended by the donor and Ibl
revenue donations or grants *or a speciflc con8re6ational activity intended by the donor. Where these funds have unspent balance5, interest on their
pooled investrnent Is apporrloned to the individual funds on an average balance basis.
Unrestricted funds are incorne funds whlch are to be spent on the conEregation'5 general purposes.
Designated funds are general fund5 set aside by the congregation for use in the future.
