Linn Primary School PTA Treasurer Report 2022/2023

Firstly, I would like to thank all of our members and school staff who have all worked so hard throughout the year. This year saw us lose two longstanding members of the PTA as their children move on to secondary school. We would like to thank Leagh-Ann as treasurer and Michelle as a committee member for their dedication over the years. We are currently working as a very small team and therefore really need to increase our members now to help us continue fundraising for our School.

We had a total income this year of £9683.49 with a profit of £4950.13. Our Halloween and summer discos continued to make excellent profits, generating £1599.28 altogether. The Christmas Fayre this year brought a profit of just over £2500 and the Summer Fayre was slightly down on last year’s total, bringing a profit of £2462.75. To date this year the School has received over £6100 from the PTA. This included £1140 towards the school hoodies for all our P7 leavers and a donation of £5000 towards outdoor space and creating a new trim trail to replace the current deteriorating equipment. Fundraising for this project will continue into next year.

After these donations the PTA account at the end of June was left with a total of £4586.34, which will be extremely helpful to Mrs Duff for school activities and to continue to improve the environment. Thank you again to everyone for all your help and support and hopefully we can make this an even better year of funding for Linn Primary School.
