Independent Examlner's Report to the Executlve Committee of the Friends of Music in the Educatlon Authorlty (North East Region) 1.1 report on the accounts of the Friends for the year ended 31 sl March 2024; a copy of the Financial Slatement is attached. 2, AS the Friends Executive Committee you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance wlth the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 Ihereinafter referred to as the Charities Act}. 3. It Is my responslbllity to: 1> examlne Ihe accounts under section 65 of the Charitles Act: 2) follow the procedures lald down in the general directions given by the Charty Commisslon for Northern Ireland under sectlon 65{9) (b) of the Charitles Act; and 3) state whelher particular malters have come lo my attention. 4.1 have examined Ihe charrty accounls as required under sectlon 65 of the Charities Act and my examination has been carrled oul in accordance wlth Ihe general dlrections given by the Charity Commlsslon for Northern Ireland under section 65(9){b) lo the Charitles Aci. 5. My examlnallon Included a review of the accountlng records kept by the Charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records.
