Report for the Trustees for the year ended

The Trustees of Ternionmaguirc Cancer Patients. Comfort Fund
present the .annual report and audited accounts for the year
ending 3.1 December 2022 8nd confirm they comply with the
requirements of the Charities Act (NI) 2008, the Trust deed and the
Clwities SORP (FRS 102).
Our Ai
The Trust .operates under the De.claration of Trust dated 18
December 2014.
The purpose of the charity is:
To provide financi￿ support to those living with aqncer and their
families who are registered with CaTrickmore Health Centre or who
live in the Parish of Ternionmaguirc. We will provide other services
considered by the Trustees as appropriate.

To provide financial support to beneficiaries

To publish or distribute inforniation and advice
To cooperate with .other ch￿ltieS, voLuntary and statutory
bodies to exchange information .and advice.
Review of activitles and achievements. during 2022
of the local community.
Donations and gift Aid.received in 2022 totalled £85,527.54:
and local orgarrisation's fL￿d raising events. as well a4 individual
contributions in lieu of wedding favours, anniversary and birthday
presents and funeral flowers.
Fundraising events during 2022 included clwity wall(s, runs and
cycles.. Money raised from events such as tractor runs, vintage
rally and coffee mornings. Consequently the .charity gratefully
received substantial financial support during 2022.
At every opp.ortullity the Trustees ensured there w.as committee
representation from the charity at these events. The. charity
continued to. acknowle.dge receipt and appreciation for the
donations through the ch&rities' Faceb.ook p.age, subj.ect to the
benefactor s wishes.
In 2022 the ftmd provided financial support to beneficiaries
totalling grants of £62.600.00.
The purpose. of" this financial support is to assist: Gqncer patients
and their families with .additional costs associated with treatment
travel, increase.d home heating and potentially r.educed
household income.
The Ternionmaguirc Cancer .Patients .Comfort Fund. Face.book page
remains .an invaluable source of communication, providing
another means for potential patients to contact the charity. It has
also been. used to slwe Infor￿atiOn p.romoting other cancer
related services and highjighting and celebrating fLmdraising
achievements.

Our Finances
The Financial statemernt shows an incoming resource £87,473. 14.
The principal source of income is. donations and gift aid. The
remainder accrues from bank interest.and investment income.
At the end of year the fund's total was £A44, 115.79.
Structure, Governance and Management
The charity Trnstees are responsible for the over.all management
and contr.ol of Ternionmaguirc Cancer Patients Comfort Fund and
meet monthly excluding July and August. During the summer
months Trustees are available to make decisions on Trust matters
and provide support.as required.
All Truste:es give of their time freely and no remuneration or
expenses are paid. If a Trustee or memb.er of the Trustee's family
are diagnosed they are eligible to receive support in.the same way
as any other eligible patienL
Sustainablllty of current fund
The history of the charity suggests that financial stability is secure
and this is particularly evident by the substantial incomings
outlined. The charity Trustees are mindful of the current cost of
living crisis and potential impact on fund raising in the near
future. The. financial surety of the charity is in an encouraging
position given the gener.osity ofthe local community .This will allow
continued support of cancer patients which will be critical
particularly.in the midst of a cost of living crisis:
Statement of compliance
The Trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity
Commission for Northérn Ireland's guidance .on public benefit to
ensure the activities associated with the charity have helped
achieve the charities puryoses and provided a benefit to the
beneficiaries.
