Trustees'Annual Report for the year ended 31st December 2025

The trustees present the annual report and statements of receipts and payments and assets and liabilities for the year ended 31st December 2025

Objectives and Activities

The purpose of Elkana Christian Fellowship is to share the message of the Gospel as it is found in the scriptures. Elkana's services are open to all who wish to attend and are open to the leading of God.

Performance & Public Benefit

Each week we meet to praise and worship our God together and pray with one another. In this way we support and encourage each other to grow in our own personal faith and become more like Christ and share Communion together. We continue to support the Compassion Child Sponsorship Scheme and actively provide practical financial support to the South Belfast Foodbank

The church has given careful consideration to the Charity Commision for Northern Ireland's guidance on public benefit to ensure that the activities entered into during the year have helped to achieve the church's objectives and activities as well as providing public benefit.

Financial Review

Provide an overview of the financial position at the reporting date Explain the Trustee's policies lf there any material deficits at the end of the year take steps to remedy same

Going Concern

The trustees have reviewed the budgets for the year ahead and are satisified that there are adequate funds in place to ensure that the church can continue its activities and the financial statements for the year ended 2025 can be signed off as a going concern

The trustees are responsible for keeping accounting records that are sufficient to show and explain the church's transactions and disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the assets and liabilities of the church. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the church and hence take reasonable steps for the prevention of fraud and other irregularities
