The trustees present the annual report and statements of receipts and payments and
assets and liabilities for the year ended 31 st December 2024
Objectlves and Actlvltles
The purpose of Elkana Christian Fellowship is to share the message of the Gospel as
it 1$ found in the scriptures. Elkana's seNices are open to all who wish to attend
and are open to the leading of God.
Performance & Public Benefit
Each week we meet to praise and worship our God together and pray with one another.
In this way we support and encourage each other to grow in our own personal faith and
become more like Christ and share Communion together.
We continue to support the Compassion Child Sponsorship Scheme and actively
provide practical financial support to the South Belfast Foodbank
The church has given careful consideration to the Charity Commision for Northern
Ireland's guidance on public benefit to ensure that the activities entered into during the
year have helped to achieve the church's objectives and activities as well as
providing public benefit.

If there any material deficits at the end of the year take steps to remedy same
Golng Concern
The trustees have reviewed the budgets for the year ahead and are satisified that there
are adequate funds in place to ensure that the church can continue its activities and the
financial statements for the year ended 2024 can be signed off as a going concern
The trustees are responsible for keeping accounting records that are sufficient to show
and explain the church's transactions and disclose with reasonable accuracy at any
time the assets and liabilities of the church.They are also responsible for safeguarding
the assets of the church and hence tske reasonable steps for the prevention of fraud

The payment of salary and remuneration is determined by the Church Members

It is the church members who are responsible for the day to day management of the
church.
They meet to discuss matters of church business arisin9.

The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees, report and statement of receipts
and payments and statement of assets and liabilities in accordance with applicable law
and regulations
The law applicable to charities in Northern Ireland with income of less than £250000
requires the trustees to prepare a statement of receipts and payments and a statement of
assets and liabilities for each financial year
