Purpose I: Improved relatlonships between home and school.
The St Aloysius PTFA Is a small group of parents of chlldren who attend the school, the school
PrSncSpal and teacher representatlves. The PTFA works In close partnership with the school and staff
In organlslng varlous events, actlvltles and fundralsers during the school year. The benefit of these
actlons are engagement of parental support leadlng to better relatlonships between school and
home. Thls is achieved through PTFA updates that appear on the school newsletter and both the
school and PTFA fa￿book pa8es. Thls purpose doe5 not lead to harm.
Purpose 2: Advanclng the educatlon of all puplls who attend the school.
The PTFA provide resources for all areas of the currlculum, which benefits the educatlonal progress
of children. These resources would not be avallable through dSrect funding of the school. Thls
purpose does not lead to harm.
All declslons on howthe funds ralsed by the St Aloysius PTFA should be spent are agreed bythe
PTFA Commlttee, the school Prlnclpal and teachlng staff prlor to any purchases being made.

Highlights of the PTFA Year 202112022
Work started on clearing the unused section of land so that the KSI children could have their own
play area.
The end of year colour run agaln proved to be a Successful fundraiser and all partlclpants enjoyed
themselves.
Fundralsln8 actlvities:
The maln fundraising activity wa5 the end of year colour run, again held for children as a way of
trying to minimlse the risk of covid in the school community.
Other fundralsers included:
Chrlstmas craft day with parental donatlons.
Non uniform day;
Break the rules day.
Other PTFA actlvltles:
Providing a welcome treat for all new Pl pupils;
Pizza and cake treat for P4 chlldren who made thelr Holy Communion;
World book day vouchers for competltlon wlnners;
Plzza treat for the school Millionalre readers;
Easter Colouring com petition;
Halloween treats;
Popcorn treat as part of Wellbeing week
P7 clnema day
Bracelet for all P7 chlldren
Easter eggs for a colouring competltlon
Plzza lunch as a thank you to all staff

Revlew of the Financial posltlon at the end of 202112022
The opening balance at I" September 2021 was £23,214.61. A total gross Income of £9,621.77 was
raised during the financial year. Expenses during this period amounted to £4,216.25 resulting in a
net income of £5,405.52 and a closing balance at 31"August 2022 £28,621.50.
