RESPECTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES OF CHARITY TRUSTEES AND EXAMINER As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance wrth the Charities act (Northem Ireland) 2008. It is my responsibility to: Examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charrti8s act (Northem Ireland> 2008: Follow the procedures laid down in the general directions gNen by the Commission under section 65 (9) (b) ol the Charities Acl: State whether particular matters have come io my attention. BASIS OF INDEPENDENT EXAPIINER'S REPORT I have examined your charity accounts as required under s8clion 65 01 the Charities Act and my examination was carried out in accordance with the general directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under section 65 (9> (b) of the Charities Act. My examination included a review of the accounling records kept by the chaiity and a comparison of the accounts presented wilh Ihose records. It also included consid8ration of any unusual i18ms or dtsclosures in th8 accounts. and seekiNJ explanations from you as charity irustees concerning any such matt8rs. My role is to state whether any material matters tk3ve come to my attention gNing me causé to bélieve: (1) That accounting records were rK)t kept in accordance with section 63 of the Chariti8s Act. (2) That the accounts do not accord wilh Ihose accounting records. {3) That Ihe accounts do not cornpty with Ihe accounting requirements of the Charities Act. {4) That there is no further inforrnalion needed for a proper urKlerstanding of the accounts to be reached.
