Introduction The trustees of Carrickfergus Central Primary School Parent Teacher Association are pleased to submlt their report and statement of accounts for the period I September 2023 to 31 August 2024 Governing Document Carrickfergus Central Primary School Parent Teacher Association Is governed by a constltution last amended on l June 2015. The trustees have had regard to the Commi55ion'5 public benefit requlrement guldance. Beneficiaries Current pupils of Central I ntegrated Primary School, and their families. Purpose Carrickfergus Central Primary School Parent Teacher Association organise fundraising events throughout the school year. We help the school, Central Integrated Primary, purchase IT equipment, sports equipment, books and fund transportto events. Summary ofActivities Carrickfergus Central Primary School Parent Teacher Association ran Several events and fundraising activities during the year, raising a total of £2,614.58 after costs. Event5 included., Non-uniform and Christmas jumper days "Blg Breakfast" on a mornlng before school Brlght Lights Disco Quiz 70th Anniversary Dinner Other fundraising activities included: Letters from Santa Raffles at Hallowe'en, Christma5 and Easter Coin Challenge The association received an amount of £155.67 from EasyFundraising which acts as 'cashback' scheme, at no cost to those who ralse funds. The assoclation donated funds to the school- Central Integrated Prlmary School, Carrlckfergus- for several dlfferent Items, Including £1,364 towards improving the outdoor play area wlth new equipment. The donations will improve the school for current and future pupils. Gifts from Santa were also funded for every child at the school for Christmas, and £200 was donated to families in need within our school community, to asslst wlth heat and electric cost5 during the cost of Ilving crisls. The associatlon ended the financial year with posltive reserves of £2,614.58, twice prevlous yearfs figure of £1307.13. This has been possible through the opportunity to run more events following further easing of Covid-19 restrictions within EA guidelines. The association's governance costs remain modest, at approx. £155.00 per annum. The trustees would like to take this opportunity to thank all the local businesses, parents and other family members, staff members and other friends of our school communlty for their support durln8 this financial year. ..(J.....J........HLLU.....
