Introduction The trustees of Carrickfergus Central Primary School Parent Teacher Association are pleased to submit their report and statement of accounts for the period I September 2022 to 31 August 2023 Governing Document Carrickfergus Central Primary School Parent Teacher Associatlon is governed by a constitution last amended on l June 2015. The trustees have had regard to the Commission's publlc benefit requirement guidance. Beneficiaries Current pupils of Central Integrated Primary School, and their families. Purpose Carrickfergus Central Primary School Parent Teacher Association organise fundraising events throughout the school year. We help the school, Central Integrated Primary, purchase IT equlpment, sports equlpment, books and fund tran5POrtto ewents. Summary of Activities Carrickfergus Central Primary School Parent Teacher Association ran several events and fundraising artivities during the year, raising a total of £920.17 after costs. Events included: Non-uniform and Christmas jumper days "Big Breakfasv on a morning before school Bright Lights Disco Other fundraising activities included.. Letter5 from Santa DVD and USB videos of the school Christmas shows Ballots at Hallowe'en, Christmas and Easter The assoclation recelved an amount of £105.01 from Easyfundraising and Amazon Smile, which both act as 'cashback' schemes, at no cost to those who raise funds. The association donated funds to the school - Central Integrated Primary School, Carrickfergus - for several different Items, Including £800 for classroom equipment and £350 towards a Coronatlon celebration event in the summer term. The donatlons will improve the school for current and future puplls. Selection boxes were also funded for every chlld at the school for Chrlstmas, and £150 was donated to families in need within our school community, to assist with heat and electrlc costs during the cost of living crlsis. The association ended the financial year with positive reserves of £1307.13, a slight reduction in the previous yearfs figure of £1373.73. Thls is not a concern as the association's governance costs are modest, at approx. £140 per annum. The trustees would like to take this opportunlty to thank all the local buslnesses, parents and other family members, staff members and other friends of our school community for thelr support during this financial year.
