Summary of Activities Carrickfergus Central Primary School Parent Teacher Assotiation ran several events and fundraising artivities during the year, ralslng a total of £1.807.36 after costs. Event5 Included.. Non-uniform and ChrSstmas Sumper days "Blg 8reakfast' on a morning before school Bright Lights Disco Quiz Multicultural Fair Other fundralsing activities include¢J.' Letters from Santa Raffles at Hallowe'en, ChrSstmas and Easter Coln Challenge The a5soclatlon received an amounts of £75.16 from Easyfundrals5nB and £131.23 from A5da Cashpot. whlch acts as 'cashback' schemes, at no cost to those who raise funds. The a550clatlon donated funds to the school Central Integrated Prlmary School. Carrlckfer8us- for several dlfferent item5, includlng £2,494 towards purchasing a new sulte of chrome books to help improve computer Ilterally of puplls. The donatlons will improve the school for current and future puplls. Glfts from Santa were also funded for every child at the school for Chrlstma5, and purchased medals and partlcipatlons ribbons for sports day. There was no need thls year to supply money to the heating fund to help famllles In need with elertrlclty and heatlng costs. The associatlon ended the fSnanclal year with p051tlve reseThes of £1,807.36, whlsh Is a reduction on the prevlous years figure of £2,614.58. This is not a concern due to the amount of money donation to the school throughout the year and purcha51ng of Stems for sports day. The a5soclatlon's governance cost5 remaln modest, at approx. £140.00 per annum. The trustee5 would Ilke to take thls opportunlty to thank all the local buslnesses, parents and other family members. staff members and other frlends of our school community for their support during th15 flnancial year.
