3. The Purpose of the Charity:
The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial
hardship or other disadvantage.
Specificallyi those who suffer from hearing loss, and its consequences for social
interaction.
4. Trustee Appointments
i. All members are eligible for appointment to the management committee,
and all members of the committee are trustees.
ii. This report covers 1st January 2023 to 31st December 2023
5. Our Charity's main activities to further our purposes for the Public
Benefit are as follows:
Provision of social and informative meetings between September to Mayi held in
the Ballymena area.
Provision of weekly Lip-Reading classes with a qualified ATLA Tutor in Ballymena
on Saturday mornings usually from September to June.
Organising and providing transport for one full day social outing during the
summer months.
Advertlslng the artlvlties in publlc areas such as Audiology Clinics, (both Hospital
and Private) Community Centres, Doctor's Surgeries, and other publlc spaces, as
well as by personal contacts.

6. Public Benefit Requirement
i. All of our Trustees are aware of and have regard to the Charity
Commission's Public Benefit Requirement throughout the year.
7. Charity's Financial Position for the financial year ending on 31112/2023
i. Total Income: 9220.80
ii. Total Expenditure:6383.94
8. Payments to Trustees
i. No Trustee received payment for undertaking trustee duties.
li. Where Trustees have purchased items or incurred expenses on behalf of
the Charity these costs may be reimbursed.
9. Action on Deficit Funds.
i. All funds are held in bank accounts and there are no funds held by the
Charity that are in deficit, so no action is required.
