3. The Purpose of the Charity:
The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial
hardship or other disadvantage. Specificallyi those who suffer from hearing loss, and
its consequences for social interaction
4. Trustee Appointments
i. All members are ellglble for appointment to the management committee,
and all members of the committee are trustees.
il. This report covers l January 2022 to 31st December 2022
5. Our Charity's main activities to further our purposes for the Public
Benefit are as follows:
Provlsion of social and Informative meetlngs from September to May, usually
held in Ballymena.
Provision of weekly Lip-Reading classes with a qualified ATLA Tutor in Ballymena
on Saturday mornings from September to June,
Organising and providing transport for one full day social outlng durlng the
summer months although it was not possible to arrange one in 2022.
Advertising the activities in public areas such as Audiology Clinics, (Hospital and
Private) Community Centres, Doctor's Surgeries, and other public spaces, as well
as personal contacts.

6. Public Benefit Requlrement
i. All of our Trustees are aware of and have regard to the Charity
Commission's Public Benefit Requirement throughout the year.

Total Income: 1412.81
ii. Total Expenditure: 1907.77
8. Payments to Trustees
i. No Trustee received payment for undertaking trustee duties.
ii. Where Trustees have purchased items or incurred expenses on behalf of
the Charity these costs may be reimbursed.
9. Action on Deficit Funds.
i. All funds are held in bank accounts and there are no funds held by the
Charity that are in deficit, so no action Is required.
