THE INSTITUTE OF NORTHERN IRELAND BEEKEEPERS Financial Income & Expenditure Notes 01 January 2023 – 31 December 2023

INCOME:

1. Membership Fees:

The balance shown on the Financial Income & Expenditure Statement is made up of Full (£27.50), Partner (£17.50), Country (£17.50), Local (£12.50) & Junior (£10.00) Membership Fees.

The Membership balance shown on the Financial Income & Expenditure Statement for 2023 shows a decrease of 34.75% on the previous year.

It should also be noted that Membership Fees for 2024 & 2025 are now also starting to be paid in advance & presently amount to £275.00.

2. Conference Fees:

The Income from the Conference Delegates shown on the Financial Income & Expenditure Statement shows a loss of £976.41. As this was the first Conference to be held since the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic back in 2020, it is only to be expected.

There was also a Raffle held during the 2023 Conference, Honey Show & Black Jar Event which amounted to £155.00.

3. Gift Aid Reimbursement:

There was Income from the Reimbursement of Gift Aid during the 2023 Financial Year to the value of £372.49.

4. The Honey Show:

There was Income from the Honey Show during the 2023 Financial Year to the value of £186.00

5. The Black Jar Event:

There was Income from the Black Jar Event during the 2023 Financial Year to the value of £115.00

6. Bee Craft:

There was Income from Bee Craft Fundraising during the 2023 Financial Year to the value of £688.00 an increase of 8.5% on the previous year

7. Donations:

The Income from General Donations shown on the Financial Income & Expenditure Statement for 2023 shows a decrease from £267.50 in 2022 to £29.50 in 2023. There

was also a Donation received from B.Philips of $100 US Dollars which was converted into £72.46 Sterling.

However, during the 2023 Financial Year Donations were also collected in memory of our Past President, Bill Turnbull, which amounted to £100.00.

EXPENDITURE:

8. The main Expenditure of the INIB during the 2023 Financial Year has been for BBKA Affiliations (£1,424.50).

9. The remainder of the Expenditure incurred during the 2023 Financial Year has been for Bee Craft, the Conference, Prizes, Stationery, Postage & the upkeep of the INIB Website
