Contributions by users of the Church Hall amounted to £270.00
All other payments in 2023 were paid and received in full.

Finances are managed by the treasurer who reports back to the trustees at Vestry
meetings which are held when necessary. Following the death of Jack Waldron
on 30 March 2022, financial matters were dealt with by a sub committee of the Selert
Vestry. The current Honorary Treasurer, elected in April 2024, is Douglas Tyler.

The principal function of the parish is to support the advancement of the Christian
religion by promoting through the work of the parish the whole mission
of the church - pastoral, social and ecumenical.
All fvnctions of the parish relate to the advancement of religion through holding regular
worship and communicating with and caring for the parishioners of all
ages especially the sick and elderly and others in the community,

The charity trustees have complied with their duties in line with the Commission's Public
Benefit statutory guidance.
Regular worship and reaching out into the community have been carried out through
the year to fulfil our statement of Public Benefit.

The Church Hall is insured for £411320.41 and the Ardclinis Rectory is insured for
£412208.85 as at October 2023, as advised by the broker following an independent
valuation in recent years.

The Trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees Report and the Statement
of Financial Attivities and Balance Sheet in accordance with applicable law and regulations.
The law applicable to charities in Northern Ireland requires the trustees to prepare
ststement of Financial Attivities and Balance Sheet for each financial year only for those
Charities having income in excess of £250,000
The trustees are responsible for keeping accounting records that are sufficient to show
and explain the Parish's transactions and disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time
the assets and liabilities of the Parish. They are also responsible for safeguarding the
assets of the Parish and hence for tsking reasonable steps for the prevention and detettion
of fraud and other regularities
