The trustees present the Annual Report and Statements of Receipts and Payment5 and
Assets and Liabilities for the year ended 31st December 2024.
Objective and Activities
The purpose of Kilmegan Parish Church is to share the message of the Gospel as it
is found in the Scriptures.
Performance & Public Interest
Each week we meet to praise and worship our God together and pray with one another.
In this way we support and encourage each other to grow in our own personal faith and
become more like Christ, and share Communion together.
We are open to and engage with society as a whole and offer support to those in need
which we believe is fundamental to the practical delivery of the christian message.
As a result of activity in pursuit of the advancement of the christian reliEion, the
Parish has a large custody of records, materials and artefacls of significance to the
cultural heritage of the area, the maintenance of which is undertaken by the Parish
at a secondary level.
Financial Review

3. If there are any material deficits at the end of the year take steps to remedy same
Going Concern
The Trustees, have reviewed the budgets for the year ahead and are satisfied that there
are adequate funds in place to ensure that the Church can continue its activities and the
financial statements for the ye3r ended 31st December 2024 can be signed off as a
going concern.
The Trustees, are re5ponsilbe for keeping accounting record5 that are sufficient to show
and explain the church's transactions and disclose with reasonable accuracy at any
time the a55ets and liabilities of the church. They are also responsible for safeguarding
the assets of the church and hence take reasonable step5 for the prevention of fraud
and other irregularities.

Recruftment and Appointment of Vestry Members
The church vestry members are appointed at a meeting of the Church at Easter Vestry.
Pay and remuneratlon
The payment of salary and remuneration is determined by the Church of Ireland OffKe.
Organlsational Strurture
It is the church members who are responslble for the day to day management of the
church.
The Church Vestry meet regularity to di￿5$ matters of church business arlsing.
Statement of Trustees, Responslbllftles
The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees, Report and Statement of Recelpts
and Payments and Statement of Assets and Liabilities in accordan￿ with applicable law
nd reEulatkA)s.
The law applicable to charities in Northern Ireland wtth income of less than £250,000
requires the trustee5 to prepare a statement of Receipts and Payments and a statement of
Assets and Liabilitie5 for each financial year.
