The trustees present the Annual Report and Statements of Receipts and Payments and
Assets and Llabllitles for the year ended 31st December 2023.
Objertlve and Artivltles
The purpose of Kilmegan Parish Church is to share the message of the Gospel as it
is found In the Scriptures.
Perforniance & Publlc Interest
Each week we meet to praise and worshlp our God tO8ether and pray vthth one another.
In this way we support and encourage each other to grow In our own personal falth and
become more like ChrisL and Sha￿ Communion tO8ether.
We are open to and engage with Society as a whole and offer support to those in need
which we believe is fundamental to the practical delivery of the christian message.
As a result of activity In pursuit of the advancement of the chrlstian religion. the
Parish has a large custody of records, materials and artefacts of slgnlflcance to the
cultural herita8e of the area, the maintenance of vthlch is undertaken by the Parish
at a Secondary level.

The Trustees, have revlewed the budgets for the year ahead and 3re satisfied that there
are adequate funds in place to ensure that the Church can continue its activities and the
financial statements for the year ended 31st December 2023 can be slgned off as a
going COn￿rn.
The Trustee5' are responsilbe for keepIr￿ accountin8 records that are sufficient to show
and explain the Church's transactions and disdose wlth reasonable accuracy at anv
time the assets and liabilities of the church. They are also responsible for safeguarding
the assets of the church and hence take reasonable steps for the prevention of fraud
and other Irregularities.

church.

and regulations.
The law appllcable to charltSes In Northern Ireland wlth Income of less than £250,000
requlres the trustees to prepare a statement of Recelpts and Payments and a statement of
Assets and Uabllltles for each financlal year.
