The year ended 31 March 2024 has been a very busy and producllve year lor Ihe Trusl and House. We
continue lo look for new ways to build a more peaceful and shared society where everyone in our
communlty can thrlvé.

Our core aims of People Place and Peace represented in all of these programmes and have made
significant posltiv8 impact within our communitie5 and for many individuals. The use of the outdoors as Ihe
platform for many of our programmes provides us with the perfecl way lo enga9e a wide range of people
from across the Cily in a shared space. We are grateful for Ihe support from all OLJr fundets, who entrust us
with their grants to make a positive difference to the lives of the people in our communities. The work of the
Trust furthers the advancement ol education in and the understsnding of th8 different cultural Ir8dilions of
local peop18 and conlribules to the Improvement in communlty relations in the local ar8a.
Parlnershlp building is increasingly importanl in these challenging times. We welcome th8 poslbve
partnership we have wilh Derry Clly & Strabane District Council. a5 well as the many communily and
voluntary organlsallons we collaborate wllh. We have spent the last 12 months growlng our volunteer base
and 11 Is their hard W￿rk that supports our stslf le8m in re81ising our misslon 'lo empower local citlzens to
become changemakers, peace builders and communily leaders,. We 8re indebted lo this group of
dgdicated and committed volunteers who give 80 willingly of their time and 8n8rgy in the davelopmenl of the
walled garden and wlder grounds as a community green hub.
The Trust conlinue to develop and deliver our 5 year Slraleglc Plan. foll¢)wln9 on from extensive
consultallon and research. The Strateglc Plan encapsulales much of Ihe rlch reconclllallon Journey travelled
by Ihe Tru81 to dele and broadens thls to In￿rpOrate a new sustainable Vision where every indivldual who
takes part in our projects embarks on 8 journey Nthere Ihey can 818rt to reallse their potential as
chang8maker8, peacebullders and valued citlzens.

adequ81e reserves to enable us to manage financtal risk end deliver on oui cornmilfflents. Our Reserves

Trustees lor specific purposes. The Trustees have designated £150,000 (2023: £135,000) of the free
rgs8rves lo cover a 6 month working capilal buffer lacilily, for polenlial redundancy costs and pending
