Thls ha5 been mainly due to COVID the avallablllry of accommodation due to the Avondale Hall has been sold. Private benefrt received by members of the group, induding volunteer5. were purely incidentsl to the purposes of raising awareness and understsnding of learning disability wtthin the local community and bwnd. Private benefft would come in the form of training and participation in volunteer reco8nition programmes such as Millennium Volunteers and Duke of Edinburgh Awards. In terms of public benefft, any activitses for dub member5 and supporters were given careful consideration to the CharÉty Commission for Nl's guidan￿ on public benefft to ensure that attlvlties have helped to achieve the charities purposes and provide benefft to the beneficiaries. When the Club is open. it is available for those with a learnin8 disability in the local community and provides respite to parents/c3rers.
