BRAMLEY CLUB LOUGHGALL CHARITY NO. 103541 th Report of Annual General Meeting on 15 November 2017 The group was established for the relief of those in need by providing social, recreational and educational activities for the over 50's in Loughgall and surrounding area The charity has carried out various activities in order to further its purposes for the public benefit. This year we have; Providing opportunities for older people to socialise and relieve isolation through our monthly meetings. Visits to places of interest e. g. Armagh County Museum, Exploris Aquarium, Portaferry New skills- Introduction to the art of wood turning by Harry Emerson who runs classes at his workshop. Christmas Floral Decorations by Emma (member). Everyone men included went home with their own arrangement. Christmas Party- Fun, Food and Frivolity for all, Health and Educational - Sister Beckett reminded us to keep exercising and having a healthy diet. Liz Drew from A B C council explained how important it is to continue recycling and what could be made out of the recycled rubbish. Lunches in The Charlemont Hotel and dinner in Mc Kees restaurant in Newtownards after a tour of the Ards peninsula. Annual Dinner in our own hall so that all the members can avail of it. Some members are not able to travel far. Finances The charit¢s profits at the end of the year amounted to £341. Some funding has been given by the Council which has allowed us to have some extra speakers. All other funding comes from within the club itself.
