LADIES OF MOUNRE- ANNUAL REPORT2022 23
Good Evening Ladies,
You are all very welcome to our 9th AGM. Can you believe Ladies of
Mourne will be 10 years in existence next year 2024. Like all other years
we have had a busy time and I will go through what we have been up to
since our AGM last year.
We had a few outings" Balmoral Show in N4ay" Three Hail Marys in
Dublin in June" The American Folk Park in September" Bridesmaids in
Armagh in November" Christmas in December" Lunch in The
Burrendale in January, N4enopause the fvqusiGg1 in Armagh in May and
Hillsborough in June.
At our monthly meetings we had Linda from Hilltop doing window boxes-
Sandra from Colour me Beautiful" Helene from N4oume First
Responders talking about their work in the Community" Margaret from
The Wool Shop with a crochet demonstration" Jennifer with a felting
workshop.
Adele from Beauty Within with an acupuncture
demonstration" Catherine Nlumion talking about Nqindfulness" Spring
Planters with Barry Nlcveigh. Eileen fvqccusker did a great story telling
evening and Catherine Lynch talking about Safety in the home. In
November we all brought food items and these were left in to
Comerstone Foodbank in Kilkeel. This replaced the Shoe Box Appeal
which we had contributed to for a number of years.
We also had a Beetle Dnve, Computer Classes with Vicky McAteer of
SRC; Crochet Classes with N4argaret of the Wool Shop and Chair Yoga
wrth Csilla.
Thank you ladies for attending these events.
l also wish to extend my thanks to Joseph and Niall for setting up the
room for us during the year. to Kathy Gallagher for her attendance here
this evening to oversee the election of officers for the incoming year and
for her help during the year. Also a big big thank you to our Committee
for all their help and advice.

God in September.
