Independent examiner's report to the charity trustees of Tullyally
Community Partnership
I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 March 2023,
which are set out on pages I to 4.
Respective responsibilities of charity trustees and examiner
As the charity trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
It is my responsibility to:
examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act
follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the
Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under section 65(9)(b) of the
Charities Act
state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examiner's report
I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the
Charities Act and my examination was carried out in accordance with the
general Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland
under section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act.
The examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the
charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It
also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the
accounts, and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees concerning
any such matters.
My role is to state whether any material matters have come to my attention
giving me cause to believe:
l. That accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 63 of
the Charities Act
2. That the accounts do not accord with those accounting records
3. That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the
Charities Act
4. That there is further information needed for a proper understanding of the
accounts to be reached.

Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination and have no concerns in respect of the
matters (l) to (4) listed above and, in connection with following the
Dirertions of the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland, I have found no
matters that require drawing to your attention.

Trustees Annual Report for the year ended 31 March 2023
The Trustees of Tullyally Community Partnership are pleased to present their report for the year
ended 31 March 2023.
Purposes of the Charity
Tullyally Community Partnership is established to enhance and develop the quality of lives of all
residents in Tullyally irrespective of their different religious beliefs, political opinion, racial group or
gender, and to provide a powerful voice on their behalf.
Main Activities to further the Charlty"s purposes for the public beneflt
Support educational attainment by promoting early intervention. Create and support the creation of
employment opportunities. Support the development of health initiatives to improve life chances.
Promote active citizenship through promoting volunteerism through programming. Supporting the
development of physical infrastructure through active citizenship.
Main Achlevements in the year
During the year we continued to deliver a range of programmes which included Jo Jingles, Surestart
programmes, physical artivities, adult education and health and wellbeing. The YMCA also
continued to deliver our youth programmes with the support of local volunteers. In addition, TCP
worked in partnership with Lisneal College for the purpose of providing space for young people who
were in difficulty in school to access their studies in the communlty centre. TCP also worked with
Lisneal College to provide GCSE English and Math support classes. Health and Fitness was promoted
through programmes such as Boot Camp, Yoga, Zumba, Walklng programmes and Circuit Training.
Throughout the year, TCP worked with DCSDC on Good Relations and Community Support
programmes which included partnership working with Currynierin Community Association to tackled
interface related issues. We also delivered fantastic Halloween and Christmas programmes that
involved Bingo, Rickety Wheel, kids disco, toddlers party, Christmas Dinners for older people, Arts &
Crafts Sessions and a Fun Day for everyone that included Santa, inflatables. hot drinks and crepes.

The Dare To Dream Project delivered by St. Columbs Park House which strengthened the partnership
working with Currynierin Community Association and also funded a number of small community
projects which were nominated by local residents was a great success.
TCP contlnued to support Tullyally Colt5 Football Club, Tullyally Women's Group and Glendermott
Valley Flute Band as well as developing stronger connections with Currynierin Community
Assoclatlon. This work was further developed with the support of St Columb's Park House and the
Dare to Dream Project.
Public Benefit Statement
The Trustees of Tullyally Community Partnership confirm that they have complied with their dutv
under section 17 {5) of the Charities Act 2011 to have regard to the Charity Commission's guidance
on public benefit and that the public benefit requlrement ha5 informed the activities of the Society
in the year to 31 March 2023.

Review of financial posftion as at 31 March 2023
The Charity had a surplus of receipts over payments for the year to 31 March 2023 of £8,760 (2022:
deficit £13,821).
As at 31 March 2023 the Charity had no funds in material deficit
The Charity was formed on 23 March 2016, and is governed by its Constitution dated at that time.
No funds are held by the charity as a custodian trustee
Trustee Selection and Management
The Charity is managed by an Executive Committee which consists of all the appointed trustees, and
the selection of any new Trustees is dealt with by that Committee.
The following served as Trustees of the Charity throughout the year to 31 March 2023. and were
also Trustees as at the date of approval of this Report
