The year covered in our report still reflects the after effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the consequence of these after effects. The impact of COVID-19 is much more long term than we expected and will affect our work in the local community for longer than many of us expected. We continue to engage our leaders and work to get more of our volunteering back to business as usual. In the mean time we look to continue to maintain the administration aspect of the work that we support with accessni checks, insurance and risk assessments. We carried out a review off the community work that is done locally and as part of our operational strategy for the future the youth club element of our overall work have been moved back under the umbrella of KCYA. This has proved beneficial on a number of fronts including our engagement with our members and leaders. This change has helped us to provide an increasingly diverse aspect to our youth club work which includes a substantive social outing schedule as well as the weekly Friday night meetings and due to the demand now runs for 9 months of the year. ## Financial Review:-- The turnover for 2024 / 2025 was around £26,000.00 which is more than double the previous year and a reflection of the increased level of work with the young people of our local community. We had a grant from the Halifax Foundation for £2,500.00 which added a lot of value to our schedule of social outing. £13,000.00 relates to a one of trip to Disney Paris. Our turnover is still very much money in / money out and is invested in the youth work that we do locally. We would anticipate that our current financial model will allow us to continue to operate in the future.
