It is lovely to tell you we had three new members, Hilda Francey, Elaine Gill
and Nathalie Scott. You are all very welcome. Elaine is still in full time
employment and at this stage is just available on Thursday.
During the summer we bought a freezer so we could stock ice cream and
lollipops. This has been well received by staff and patients alike. Especially
staff as the wards are so warm and having to wear masks and plastic aprons
on top of their uniform. they are very hot and cold refreshments are greatly
appreciated.
Hopefully everyone is sorted with the new parking facilities at the multi storey
car park. I know it's not as convenient as parking outside but unfortunately, we
are dictated to on this matter.
Again, thank you to all our buyers, Dorothy Andrews, Cecelia Graham, Kaye
Mccully and Roberta McDowell. l am sure everyone is delighted with our new
greeting cards, these are handmade by Dorothy Andrews, a big thank you
Dorothy. They are a great compliment to our stock and are selling quickly. Our
thanks also to Dorothy for preparing the monthly rotas. telephone lists and to
Eve Mateer as our minute secretary.
I would ask you if you are unable to do your slot PLEASE get a stand in from
our standby list or any other member. A special thank you to Kate Coyle who
really has done much more than just the odd stand in as well as her own duty
rota. Thank you to everyone who helped out in any way, it is very much
appreciated. Without your help we couldn't operate.
If you have any ideas or queries you would like to put to the committee, please
leave a note in the shop and we will deal with it in the best way possible.
May I say it has been a privilege to serve as your Chairperson and I thank you
for all your support.
Ladies thank you one and all for the loyalty yqu have for each other and the
shop.
