Annual Report 2021
Due to Coronavirus, the organisation has had a complete cessation of any activities that were public.
The Association’s Committee meetings continued online with the addition of new members, which is a great boost for the area.
Representatives continued to attend the Inter-Agency “walkabouts” where issues were identified and added to the Inter-Agency Action Plan.
The Association were successful in receiving funds to help during the lockdown period(s). The funding was received from Fermangh & Omagh District Council’s COVID Recovery fund. The association highlighted individuals/families that were in need and funds were used to purchase essential items.
As on ongoing effort to maintain the area, the Association organised 3 “Litter-Pick” days for the area. They were a great success and the group plans to apply to Live Here, Love Here in order to continue and expand on the work already started.
Funding applications have been completed and submitted in the hope of purchasing an on-site facility for the residents of the area. This has been an ongoing effort and it is hoped the facility will be open in 2021/22 period.
