The Iruslees present Ihelr annual report 8nd financial slalemenls for the year ended 31 May 2022.
The financial slalernenls have been prepared in accordance with the accounting policies sel out in note 1 to the
financial slal&menls and comply with the charitable company's Memorandum and Articles of Association, the
Companies Act 2006 and Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Slalemenl of Recommended Practice applicable
lo charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the FinanGial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and
Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021" leffeclive 1 January 20191.
ObJectives and activitles
The principal activity of the charitable company is lo promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Diamond District
?nd ils environs wilhoul distinction of sex. race or political, religious or other opinions. by assoaaling together the
said inhabilanls in a common effort lo advan¢e education and lo provide facilities in the Interests of social welfare
for recreation and leisure lime occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
The trustees havè paid due regard to guidan¢e issued by the Charity Commission for Northem Ireland in deciding
what activities the charitable company should undertake.
The benefit of the charitable company is recorded by th& Charity Commission for Northern Ireland as..
Thè organisalion combats povety which has the direct benefit of alleviating poverty, improving health and wellbeing
which has the direct benefit ol providing improved health and wellbeing, advancing education which has the direct
benefit of improving knowledge and skills, and developing the commullity with the clirect benefit of empowering the
community lo engage more fLJlly in activities and wider society. The diiecl benefits are evidenced by feedback from
participants and health professionals and by evaluation of our aclivilies. There is no harm flowing frorn the
purposes. The beneficiaries are the inhabitants of the Diamond area of County Armagh. Any private benefit is
Incidental and would only arise from people gaining skills which may be transferable.
Achlevements and performance
During the year lo 31 May 2022 the charitable company continued lo operate a museum, receiving donations and
the sale of merchandise to visitors.
The charitable company received grant funding of £22.950 from Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough
Council towards repair work lo the museum and lo facilitate events.
Financial revlew
The ¢harilable company's financial results are sel out in detail on pages 7-14.
There is an overall surplus of funds for the year of £11,545. Ac¢umulaled funds consist of unreslricled funds of
£23,170 and reslricled funds of £114,847.
Reserves
The Iruslees aim ID relain sufficient reserves lo meol ongoing running and maintenance costs of the museum.
Rlsk management
The clireclors have considered the major risks which the company faces and are satisfied that, with continued
monltoring, they have adequately miligaled slgnificanl risks as far as possible.
Golng concern
The directors have reviewed the position of the charity and are of the opinion that the charity will continue in Ils
activities and the accounts should be signed off as a going concem.

The charitable company is a company limited by guarantee, governed by ils Memorandum and Articlos of
Assorialion dated 19 April 2006.

Under the requirement of the Memorandum and Articles of Assoaalion, directors shall hold offi¢e until the next
Annual General Meeting and shall then be eligible for re-election.
None of the trustees has any beneficial interest in the company. All of the Iruslees are members of the company and
guarantee to contribute £1 in the event of a winding up.
The day lo day running of the charitable company is overseen by the Iruslees.
In preparing this report, the trustees have taken advantage of the small companies exemptions provided by section
415A of the Companies Act 2006.
