During the meeting, Chairman Malachy Mccullagh provided a
comprehensive Ove￿ieW of the activities carried out in the previous
year. He acknowledged the numerous challenges and thanked
everyone for their unaverred support.
Following this, Artistic Director Brian Mcmahon reflected on the
previous season and outlined the exciting program planned for the
upcoming season, which promised to be another busy one.
Brian's reflections on the past season emphasise the significant mile-
stones achieved by the creative team. The productions mentioned, "The
Importance of Being Earnest" The Ferryman," and 'West Side Story,"
not only showcased the tslent of the cast and crew but also resonated
with audiences, contributing to the overall success of the season.
The inclusion of two musicals and two plays in the programming indi-
cates a diverse artistic offering, catering to a wide range of tastes and in-
terests. This variety likely helps draw in differentaudience demographics,
fostering a vibrant cultural environment
Furthermore, the youth projerfs growth, with 120 applicants this year,
points to an increasing commitment to nurturing young tslent and en-
gaging the community. This initiative not only provides valuable oppor-
tunities for young performers but also strengthens the connection be-
tween the organisation and its local audience, ensuring a sustainable fu-
ture for the arts in the region.
