Prior impairments are also r8viewed for posslble reversal at each reporllng date.
For the purposes of impairment testing, when it Is not possible to estimate the recoverablo amount of an individual asseL an
esllmate is made of th9 recoverable amount of the cash-g8nerating unit to whlch the ass61 belongs. The cash-generatlng unil
is the smallest that includ8S the asset and generates cash inflows Ihat18rgely Independent of the cash inflows from olher
assets or group of assets.
For impalrmenl testlng of goodwill, the goodwill acquired In a busines5 combination is, from the acqulsilion date, allocated to
each of the cash-generating units that are expettted to benefit from the synergies of the combinatlon, irrespecuve of whether
other assets or liabilities of the charity are assigned to those units.
