Independent Examiner's Report to the trustee5 of Derrytrasna Playgroup
I report to the ch2rity trustees on my examination of the financi31 statements of Derrytrasna Playgroup for
the year ended 30 September 2023.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity's trustees of the company land also its direttors for the purposes of company lawl YDU are
responsible for the Prepa￿tion of the financial statements in accordance with the requirements of the
Companies Act 20061'the 2006 Art.
Having satisfied myself that the financi81 statements of the Charity are not required to be audited under Part
16 of the 2006 Att and are eligible for independent examination, I report in respect of my &Yamination of
your charty's financial statements as carried out under settion 145 of the Charities Art 20111'the 2011 Act'l.
In carrying out my examination I have followed the Directions given by the Charity Commission under settion
145151 Ib) of the 2011 Att.
Independent examiner's ststement
I have completed my examination. I can confirm that no material matter5 have come to my attention in
tonnettion with the examination gtving me cause to believe:
accounting record5 were not kept in accordance with section 386 of the 2006 Att,. or
the financial statements do not accord with those records,- or
the financial statements do not comply with the accounting requirements under settion 396 of the 2006
Att other than any requirement that the financial statements give a 'true and fair, view which is not
matter considered a5 part of an independent examination: or
the financial ststements have not been prepared in accordance with the methods and principles of the
Statement of Recommended Prattice for accounting and reporting by charities applicable to charities
preparing their accounts in ac￿rdanCe with the Financial Reporting standard applicable in thè UK and
Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021.
I have no concerns and have come acr055 no other matters in connettion with the examination to which
attention should be dTrwn in this report in order to enable a proper unclerrtanding of the financial
statements to be reached.
