ORIECTIVES Al4tD ACTtvrriES Our Vision Crown Jesus Ministries was birthed in May 1999 with an all Ireland 32 county vision, 'lo see the ￿0P]e of Ireland crown Jesus Lord of their lives,. Their aim is lo comtnunieate Jesus in a relevant way through teams of staff and volunteers active in children's. youth, student, adult and specia] education ministries. These teams deliver across Ireland and beyond in both a digital and physical way. The strategy is lo not only be active in evangelism bul lo identify. raise up ond equip evangelists across Ireland and to Serve the local church in evangelism and training. Their reach may extend beyond the island of Ireland but only if it adds value to their vision on it. The ministry's HQ is b&sed in Belfast. they have offices in Dublin and work out of their Tnission ¢entres, Hope Monaghan and Hop¢ Chapel Lane, in Belfast City Centre. In January of 2020, they committed that by the end of the decade. they would go into all 32 counties of Ireland. Kiass Kids The children's department delive]5 bible-based programmes in schools and ¢huTches to primary school aged children. Each week they visit schools to take school assemblies, teach RE classes or run afterschool ¢lubs and visit church GBIBB group4 Sunday schools and participate in church services. Using puppets alongsid¢ creative digital media and storytelling, the team reaches thousands of children each year. Croiiry) Je$u$ Youtb The youth department partners with Christian school teachers and youth leaders to deliver programmes that are Culturally relevant and bible-based. I Way is an initiaiive for post-primary schools that seeks to ¢ngage the whole school through a S¢Ties of Special events and classroom workshops leading to an evening outreach event. Additiona]ly, there are curriculum based RE classes ihat can be delivered in-person or through r¢sour¢es on CJMedi& HUB is an event run bi-annually for church youth groups to come together and connect through worship, teaching and ministry. The team also deliver evangelism training. Adult Evingelism The adult department works alongside churches to support, train, and equip in evangelism. Thi5 ranges from partner church projects with an individual church or a group of churches. to delivering evangelism training in-person or online, to helping churches develop missional strategies. The S¢hool of Evangelism provides teaching and training for ￿0upS and individuals deliv¢ffd in-prrson and online. Go Groups ar¢ small groups that meet online with th¢ pu￿0$¢ to equip, inspire, and release people into Chri5t-centred evangelism. Evangelists from across Ireland are encourdged to meet logerher for teaching and fellowship at the annual Evangelists, Gathering. Ac#demy The Crown Jesus Academy provides young people with an opportunity lo develop their faith and skills and experience tninistry through our'year out, programme. An additiona] year can be taken focusing on a specific thread of the Tninistry with encouragement to develop their own prograrnrne. CJMedia (cjmedia.online) Launched in Oct 2020, this r¢source website provides relevant resources. training and teaching material for school teachers, ministers, kids. youth workers and many others. The resources includ¢ videos. worksheets, keynotes and live streams, produced by th¢ in-hous¢ team or in partnership with other or£anisations. All resources atr free of charge after registration is completed. Hope Monaghan Hope is a Missional Community Centre in Monaghan which off¢rs pra¢lica] Christian love through foodbank, soup lunches. prayer ministy and an after-school café for teenagers. Previously Berry Street Presbyterian, Hope Chapel Lane is a place to worship, serve. learn and pray with a focus on revival and mission. A typieal week involyes, street evangelism and prayer on Monday, a student drop-in partnership with PCI Chaplain¢y on Tuesday, Teen Challenge partnership on Wednesday and Friday, Revival Now gatherings on Thursday evenings and a Prayer Healing Clinic on Friday. Higbligbts from Aug 2021- July 2022 Looking back over the past 12 months, Iheff is tnuch to be thoJd(ful for. Many of our ptogrammes have resumed ￿thOUgh there aTe still some limits and restrictions on in-person programmes, as schiKTrls and churches navigate post-¢ovid life. The investment into digital delivery has brought significant opportunities lo reach further and wider than before while being able to maintain and grow cu￿ent and new relationships. Partnered with Boys, Brigade Nl for Mission 22. Filmed and produced 2 youth and 3 kids videos. 143 BB companies delivered the resourees to 5,055 under I I's and 2,566 ov¢r I I's, with many boys responding and deciding to put their trust in Je5US. Built new relationships with churches in ROI and delivered 10 Sunday services. Delivered evangelism training in ROI through 5 workshops in Navan, LimericK Carlow, Kildare and Laois with multiple churche5 engaging at each location. Christmas street out￿a¢h in Monaghan using our new evangelism display.. The Grcatest Gift Box. Klass Kids developed a digital Christmas resource for primary schools and delivered 53 interdctive workshops which complimented th¢ rcsource. The digital resource was used in 25 differ¢nt primary and SEN schools and 10 churches reaching over 4,500 children. Started a new p8rtheTship with Shalom Christian Church to run Hope Monaghan. Got the keys to Berry Street PTesbyterian chU￿h in September 2021 and launched Hope Chapel Lane in October 2021. Key partnership5 are with South Belf&st Presbytery. PCI Chaplaincy at Queens and Teenchallenge. Teaching at Teen Challenge college in UK (Oct 21). KI￿S Kids puppet assembly was delivered 48 times across 20 prirnary schools. The youth team visited 75 post primary schools and I I churches throughout the year. Partnered with Discovery Church, Galway for a weekend long outreach d¢livering progrdmmes for all the family, a youth event and evangelisti¢ services seeing 10 people come to faith. Partnered with Church￿ in Holywood, Co Down for a family fun day. New partnership developed with TBN UK, with Miich filming a 5-week series and 2 3-minute shorts. which have aired regularly throughout the year. Youth ieatn partnered with youth agencies across Nl to support those working as Interns delivering 3 Interns Together days. Launched Revival Now at Hope Chapel Lane, running every Thursday night with teachin& Worship and prayer fo¢used on revival and evangelism. David Legge delivered 2 t¢a¢hing series alongside teaching series from the team.. Acts and Freedom. Obtained new offices in Dublin in May 2022 and raised funds for refurb. Partnered with Abbey Presbyterian and Braniel Chur¢h to help leadership develop mission strategies for their churches. Dadcamp ran Os 2 daycamps. one for Fatherslsons and a new one for FatherslDaughtcrs. Hope Healing prayer clini¢ launched in May 2022. Our Academy programme hosted 3 year l intems and l year 2 intem. Children's team Easter puppet PTogratnme was delivered in 5 churches. Evangelist5 from across Ireland garhered in Oct 2021 at our Evangelists Gathering and enjoyed teaching and encourageTnent from Rico Tice and John Dickenson. Started refurbishment of th¢ Mill to house 3 studios for filming and livestreaming. Children's digital content included an afterschool 'Guess Who, 4-week series, an Easter resource, christm￿ vid¢0 'Elfic's Selfie, and Shine Kids (5-week programme for school SU groups and church groups). Youth digital Content included'Parable projectlwhat's the story, (6-week programme for RE lessons and SU groups), SHINE (3 episodes in partnership with SU Ireland, SU England and Wales and SU Srotland and Logos Ministries), an Easter resour¢e and filtning started for'Jesus plus One,, a s¢h(N)Is' resource. Welcomed 6 new staff members to the team and I new director. The ministry is thankful for the ongoing and regular financial support received from individuals and churches. FINANCIAL REVIEW Financial position At 31 July 2022 the total funds of the Ministry amounted to £545,028 (2021=£513,127) comprising Unrestricted Funds 01£447,200 {2021-. £390,862) and Reslricted Funds of £97.828 (2021.. £122,265). Reserves policy The trnslees have reviewed the reserves of the Ministry. Considering the variable income and subsiantially fixed commitments, the review ¢on¢luded that to allow the ministry to be managed effectively and to ensure unintetTUPt¢d delivery of the Ministry's activities g¢n¢ral unrestricted reserves equating to approximately six months of operational ¢osts should be attained. Al 31 July 2022 the general unrestricted res¢￿e5 were £111,216 (2021- £94,648) which is an increase but still represents less than our objective of six months operational costs. STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT Governing document Crown Jesus Ministries is a company limited by guarantee. The company was I￿OrpOrated on 21 February 2001. The company established under a Memordndum of Association which established the objectives and poweTS of the company and is governed by its Articles of Association. The liability of its rnetnbers is limited in that every membeT of the company undertakes to contribute an amounl not exceeding £10 in the event of the company being wound up. How the Ministry make5 deci5iOnS Th¢ Trustees and senior management team meet approximately 8 tirnes per year to set strategy, discuss si￿11ftCant matters, #gree pay structures and review financial r¢ports. During ihese meetings important decisions are made by the consensus of the Trustees. Day to day decision making responsibilities are delegated to the senior management team of Keith Mitchell, Amanda Mitchell and Steven Halliday.
