Trustees, Annual Report for the year ended 5 April 2023
The Trustees present their Annual Report and Statements of Receipts and Payments and Assets and Liabilities for the
year ended S April 2023.
Objectives and Activlties
The Trustees are responslble for all the 355et5 of the Trust Fund and the adtnini5tration of TIu5teE tneetiiigs.
The Charity makes financial donations to chosen recipient charities which are active in deliverlng practical aid and
provision to needy SiEuarions. A Memorandum of Wlshes, signed by Morrls and Sally Phllllps on 21 December 2007, ha5
been distributed to all Trustees for their guidance. The following extract from that document sets out the purposes of
the Charitable Trust,.
"In principle, we would anticipate the funds being applied- as the Trustees direct- in furtherance of the followlng
(although this is not intended to be an exhaustive list and is simply by way of example}:
lal the relief of hardship now and for the future through the furtherance of general education and the
promotion of the Christian faith in underdeveloped countries.
Ibl the provlslon of fundlng to help dlsa5ter recovery, where that OCCU15 Wlthin the world-
Icl the development of missionary work throughout the world-
Idl the support of charities involved in al to cl above which illustrate good 5teward5hip by applying a large
percentage of donaiions received to the work on the ground-

Trustees to be worthy of assistance."
Achievements, Performance & Publlc Benefrt
The Charity has given careful consideration to the Charity Commissior) for Northern Ireland's guidance on public benetit
to ensure that the activities entered into during the year have helped to athieve the Chariws objectives and activities. as
well as providing public benefit.
Financial Revlew
The Charity had net outgoings of £130,956 for the year ended S April 2023. The Trustees consider that they have
sufficient reserve5 to finance the Charlty's operatlng artlvltles golng forward.
Assessment of Risk
The Trustees have assessed the major rlsks to which the charity is exposed and are satisfied that systems are in place to
mitigate exposure to the major risks.
Plan5 for the future
The Trust contlnues to seek out opportunities to support individuals and groups which comply with the aim5 and
objectives of the Trust. It plans to remaln acrlve and doesn't plan to amend its aim5 Or objectives.
Going Concern
The Trustees have revlewed the budgets for the year ahead and are satisfied that there are adequate funds in p13ce to
ensure that the Charity can continue its activities and the Financial Statements for the year ended S April 2023 can be
signed off as a going concern.

The Trustees are responslble for keeplng accounting records that are sufficlent to show and txplaln the Charltys
transactions and disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the ?55etS and Ilabilitles of the Charlty. They are also
responslble for safeguardlng the assets of the Charlty and hence for taklng reasonable steps for the preventlon and
detectlon of fraud and other Irregularltles.
