The Trustee5 present their Annual Report and Statements of Receipts and Payments and Assets and Liabilities for the
year ended 5 Aprll 2023.
Objectlves and Attivltles
The Trustees are responsible for all the asset5 of the Trust Fund and the administration of Trustee meetings.
The Charity makes financial donations to chosen recipient charlties which are active in delivering practical aid and
provision to needy situations. A Memorandum of Wishes. signed by Morrls and Sally Phillips on 21 December 2007, has
been dlstributed to all Trustees for their guidance. The following extract from that document sets out the purposes of
the Charitable Trust..
'In principle, we would anticipate the funds being applied- as the Trustees direct- in furtherance of the followlng
(although this 15 not intended to be an exhaustive list and is simply by way of example):
lal the relief of hardship now and for the future through the furtherance of general education and the
promotlon of the Christlan falth In underdeveloped countries.
Ibl the prov151on of funding to help disaster recovery, where that occurs wlthin the world;
Icl the development of missionary work throughout the world;
Idl the support of charities Involved in al to cl above which Illustrate good stewardship by applylng a large
percentage of donatlons received to the work on the ground;
lel the support of ¢harltles operatin8 In the United Klngdom on behalf of needy causes considered by the
Trustees to be worthy of as51stance."
Achlevements, Performance & Publlc Beneflt
The Charity has glven careful conslderatlon to the Charlty Commlsslon for Northern Ireland's guidance on public benefit
to ensure that the actlvitles entered Into during the year have helped to achleve the Charit¢s objectlves and actlvltles, as
well as provldlng publlc beneflt.
Flnanclal Revlew
The Charity had net outgolngs of £130,956 for the year ended S Aprll 2023. The Trustees conslder that they have
sufficient reserves to finance the Charity's operatlng actlvltles goln8 forward.
Assessment of Rlsk
The Trustee5 have assessed the major risks to which the charity is exposed and are satisfled that systems are In place to
mitigate exposure to the major risks.
Plans for the future
The Trust continuÈs to seek out opportunltles to support Individuals and groups whlch comply with the alms and
objectives of the Trust. It plans to remain active and doesn't plan to amend its aims or objectives.
Golng Concern
The Trustee5 have reviewed the budgets for the year ahead and are satisfied that there are adequate funds In place to
ensure that the Charity can continue its activities and the Financial statements for the year ended S April 2023 can be
slgned off as a going concern.

detectlon of fraud and other Irregularltles.

I report on the accounts of the Charity for the year ended 5 April 2023, which are set out on pages 7 to 9.
Respective responslbllltles of trustees and examlner
As the Charitls Trustees you are responslble for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charitles Act
(Northern Ireland) 2008.
It Is my responsiblllty to:
examine the accounts under Section 65 of the Charities Act
follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions glven by the Charity Commlsslon for Northern Ireland
under sectlon 65{91 of the Charities Act
state whether particular matters have come to my attentlon.
Basls of Independent EKamlner's Report
I have examlned your Charity accounts as requlred under section 65 of the Charities Act. My examinatlon was carrled out
in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charlty Commission for Northern Ireland under section 65191 Ibl
of the Charltles Act.
My examlnation Included a revlew of the accountlng records kept by the Charity and a comparlson of the accounts
presented with those records. It also included a con5ideratlon of any unusual Items or dlsclosures in the accounts, and
seeking explanatlons from you a5 Charlty Trustees COn￿rnIng any such matters.
My role Is to state whether any materlal matters have come to my attentlon glvlng me cause to belleve:
