The trustees (who are also the direciors of Taylorsiown Cross Community Complex Ltd for the purposes of
company law) are responsible for preparing the trust¢e5' report and the financial statements in accordance wirh
applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Stsndards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accountin8
Practice). including FRS 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland"
Company law requires the In￿te¢S io prepare financtal sthiements for each financial year. Under company law
the trustees musi not approve the financial staiements unless they are satisfied that they give a true and fair view
of the state of affairs of the charitable company and of the incoming resources and applicalion of r¢50urce5,
including its income and expenditure. of the charitable company for that periThJ. In preparing these financial
staiements. Ihe trustees are required to:
seleci suitable accounting policies and apply them consistenily.
observe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP.
make judg¢rnents and cstimate5 that are reasonable and prudent.
slate wheiher applicable accounting standard4 comprising FRS 102 have been followed. subject to any
material departures disclosed and explained in the financial slatements. and
piepare the financial statements on the going concem basis Lmless it is inappropriate to presume that the
charitable company will continue in business.
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records that Can disclose with reasonabl¢ accuracy at
any time the financial position of the charitable company and enable them to ensure thai the financial statements
comply wilh the Cornpanies Act 2006. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charitable
company and hence for taking reasonable step5 for the prevention and detection of fraud and other I￿egular1ties.
The trustees are responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the corporate and financial inf0m￿tIOn
included on the charithble CoMpan￿S website. Legislation governing the preparation and disseminaiion of
financial stslements may ditycr from Icgislation in other jurisdiction5.
