everyone for attending these.
Plants We￿ ordered in May through Paddy O Hara's garden ￿nt￿. Planted out in early June
and did very well. Weather was very good for the flowers thi5 year. They provided a vèry
colourful and effective display around the village.
In August, the group took part in the opening parade of Heart of the Glens Festlval with a
very floral float. on￿ again the chairperson thanked everyone who worked very hard to do
thFS.
This year members felt that we should not hotd our annual coffee moming. Numbers
attending have decreased overthe years and x>me felt that it was too much work for very
little money.
ANNUAL REPORT FROM CHAIRPERSON
Catriona started by thanking everyone for attending tonight and fortheir continued
5UPI)ort.Thanked the group for their help and 5UPI)ort for the parade during the summer.
Catriona discussed the fy)wers displays in village and thought they had done really well. The
weatherwas behind us this year and everything bloomed wonderfully.
Catriona discussed that now the coffee morning had stopped. we would have to look at
another way of fundrdising forthe Ik)wers nextyear. Catriona then 5w)ke about the
continual difficulties in getting new recrutts. in particukrly men. As we are a very small
group, we are very ￿$tr[￿ed in what we do and we will not take on big projetts because we
have not the manpower. Maybe 2019 we will give us new momentum and we will meet
again ear￿ in the new year.
