The James Kane Foundation supported the PTA, and by extension All Saints College, to deliver a breakfast club, ensuring pupils were provided with a safe and secure environment before school, wherein they can avail of a nutritious breakfast with their friends.

Cash for Kids supported 76 of our families with a donation of £50 to each, seeking to alleviate pressures associated with the ongoing cost of living crisis. The total grant was a generous £3,800.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our funders for their kind support.

## **Financial review**

## **Financial performance**

Our organisation continued to support the work of All Saints College in meeting the needs of the school’s pupils, parents and staff.

The PTA utilised the funding from the Irish Youth Foundation to alleviate poverty amongst our student body. Families requiring access to WIFI were provided with devices, whilst those requiring additional support with Home to School transport, and those in need of uniforms, school shoes or equipment for physical education, were supported through this funding stream.

We also received an award from the James Kane Foundation. This grant allowed All Saints College to continue with the delivery of a much needed, and hugely popular, Breakfast Club. Pupils have a warm, secure and friendly environment each morning and begin the school day with a nutritious breakfast.

Cash for Kids supported a significant number of our pupils and their families through the provision of a £50 grant per pupil, assisting families in meeting the ongoing cost-of-living crisis. Vouchers were provided for food, clothing, household energy costs, and pupil's most basic needs, as determined through discussions between parents and the pastoral team within All Saints College.

Through our own unrestricted funding we continued to finance small items to allow staff and pupil to work with as few day-to-day barriers as possible. The PTA assisted the school with additional finance to keep the school’s ageing fleet of minibuses on the road. Finally, we supported the software license to All Saints College’s Language Department to provide Linguascope access to all pupils in Key Stage 3 and a donation to All Saints College’s PE Department to enable pupils to gain coaching accreditation through the Irish Football Association.

## **Income**

Our income over the period covered by this report was £12,656.00. Of this, £680 were donations to our unrestricted funds. The remainder was provided in the form of grant aid. The Irish Youth Foundation deposited £4,000 whilst the James Kane Foundation, donated £4176.00 and Cash for Kids provided £3,800.

We continue to seek possibilities to apply for additional grants to enhance the opportunities of our pupils and their families. Our opening balance was £8177.22.

## **Expenditure**

Expenditure for the past year totalled £12,420.94.

The majority of the expenditure this year sought to alleviate the effects of economic hardship and poverty on our pupils and their wider families.

The James Kane Foundation’s grant was utilised to support to the Breakfast Club for Key Stage 3 in All Saints College.
