**Purposes:** The Association is established to promote the benefit of the over 50s inhabitants of the area without distinction of sex, race or of political, religious or other opinion, by associating together the said inhabitants and statutory authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to combat social isolation and engage Over 50+ group in social, recreational and educational pursuits in order to enhance the quality of life and promote a vibrant and healthy community spirit.
