St Mark's Parish Church Independent Examiner's Report To the Trustees of St. Mark's Parish Churth I report on the accounts of the charity forthe year ended 31 t>eomber 2023 which are set out on pages 11- 20. Respertive responsibilitie5 of charity INstees and examiner As the charity trustees you are responsible forthe preparation of accounts in accordance with the Charitie5 Act (Northern Ireland) 2008. It is my responsibitty to: ' Examine attounts under section 65 of the Charities Act; Follow the procedures laid down in the general directions given by the Chartty Commission under section 6519llbl of the Charities Att: . State whether any particutar matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent exarniner's report I have examined your charity accounts as required under sertion 65 of the Charities Act and my examination was carried out in accordance with the general directions given by the Charity Commission for Northem Ireland under section 6519llbl of the Charities Act. My examinatlon included a review of the attounting records kept by the charty and a comparison of the accounts presented wlth those records. It also included consideration of any unusual Items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees concernin8 such matter> My role is to stste whether any material matters have come to my attention 8Ning me cause to believe: l. That the accounting records were not kept in accordano with sertion 63 of the Charities ACL. 2. That the accounts do not accord with those accounting records; 3. That the accounts do not comply with accountin8 requirements of the Charities Act: 4. That there is further information needed for a proper understsndlng of the accounts to be reached.
