Obje¢ts and *¢tivities
The Charity's objects ¢'Objects'? are to:.
(l) Advance community developmen( in particular nll￿ social and economic
regeneration and the promotion of the efficiency and effectiveness of
voluntary and community sector groups and organisations.
(2)
Promote industy and commerce by provAdin8 business incubation units for
start-up businesses and n￿Ing available meeting rooms and office space with
integrated services to such start-up businesses.
(3)
Provide access to and training in inforniation communication technologies for
the benefit of the public.
(4) Advance conflict resolution and reconciliation and the promotion of peace and
good community relations.
(5)
Promote such other charitable purposes as nwy from time to time bc
deterniined.

Th¢ direct benefit flowing from this. is a safe and neutral facility for residents of the said area of
benefit to use for m¢¢tings or trainin8 wurses with various educational or govemmeftt bodies. The
ben¢fit is evid¢n¢ed by word of mouth from the attendees and feedback after using the Centre from
the or8anis&tional bodies. This putw)se does not lead to any h8mi. The benefit is for all inhabitants
within the environg of(fanvalley, Anaghlone. Katesbridge and Corbet. A private benefit flowing fro
this is that a trustee or family mernbeT may use the Centre in same manner as all other residents, this is
purely incidental and necessary, $0 that the benefit is available to all.

community, which is gaining a healthier lifestyle, and being better infornirf this is purely incidental
and necessary so that the benefrt is available to ail.

We have undertaken and facilitated a number of community tApaeity development
programs ranging from, employability, event managemenL fundraising and grants
workshops and awareness eventy culttwal and covid sustainability workshops, capital project
planning and developmenL volunteer training.
Public consultation,(both undertaken and training and delivering), good governance at
communication training.
Rurgl capital support Servites. RCSS is an initiltive by Tanvally & Ana8hlon¢ proje4
designed to deliver e￿entIal support to rural organisations that operats across the borough.
W¢ assist rural community d¢volopment organisations around capital d¢velopm￿t projec
W¢ 8¢nerally assist in a number of ar¢as such as ￿p1￿1 project plannin& architKtural
planning and slatutory complianc¢, funding strat¢gi¢s and funding proGuremenL prn¢urem¢nt
of construction elements, prOj￿t management including financial control, post proj¢¢t
monitoring and evaluation and finally cotllmunity planning and implementslion.
We deliver some ¢lcments (planning & process management) free and som¢ incur charge.
We are currently working with over 46 groups on 36 capital projects and are working with
groups in 3 counties in Nt.
We have provided clean and modern facilities circa 6000ft2 for community use throughout
the year in the Tanvally & Anaghlone area of south Down with a catchment area of a 7 mil¢
radius of our facility with an ¢s¢imated pot¢DtiaI ben¢fi¢iari￿ in ¢xces5 of1800 p￿pIc.
TAP assistsa 8 local organisation$ in dealing with the effects of COVID and how best to
insulate organisations weakness from exposure through beneficial mitigation strdtegies.
We have asslstsl the constituent user organisations and the landlord of our facility to acquire
capital and project fjjnding for a number of social purposes including sports equipmenL
n¢wabl¢ equipmenL play equipmenL and social events.
We are successfully utilising disus¢d agricultural Spa￿ into a s¢lf storage facility for storing
short medium and long terni items. All profits derived will be returned for social progrdmmes.
This has been Suspended due to COVID
We have cfrdelivered for the third year nmning with the Nifty over fifty's for over 50,
access to IT and internet training and clinics every other Thursday> this is a volunteer program
that assists p¢ople who are old¢r and have little or no IT w)d internet skill& we provide acce
to HMRC, ebay. Amazo￿ Tescos food delivery, etc.
This has proved popular and hugely beneficial.

TAP have officially pathred with th¢ Ntvso to apply for £1.05 Million of Funding from
the AF￿ to deliv¢r a Suit¢ of mental and physical b¢alth and well b¢ing programm￿ that
arc ¢nvisag¢d to improv¢ th¢ liv￿ and physical cmditions of over an anticipated 100.OIXI
veterans and their f8mili¢s living in NI. This is a two year prOgra￿e agreed in December
2021 and has began suc¢¢ssful delivery.
TAP have provided advice and supp)rt to a third sector Organisation in Fast Belfast with the
task of Disposing of a substs0t1￿ property to th¢ benefit of ARK S￿la1 housin& Belfast with
the aim to d¢v¢loping 30 much ne¢d¢d aparthi¢Dts with a collective value of £6.6￿ this is
¢nvisag¢d to (x)mmen(% in 2023.
TAP have undertaken the reseawh gnd developxnent of a new social enterprise with aim of
creating a not for profit water bottling and sales company ￿ lands secure in the locale. We
have tested the markrt and are content of woduct viability and we fvlly intend to launch 2 line
of mineral water sales. One line will sell water to the MOD and any profits after costs will be
redirected into veteran's charitxes for fiffiher distribution. The 2 line is also not for profit
with all profits being used to tackIe climate clw)ge issues through on the wund delivery of
renewable eller￿ products and projects. Our goal is to used ail proce•ts to physically
implement ground breaking car￿n neutral projects that will inevitably create energy
independence througb the instsliation of micro generation strategies and I￿alISed energy
generntion as well as cffating ￿ effiCie￿ieS in waste disposal and circular ener8y
recovery aod re use projects.

2021 has continued to be problematic for our organisation due to COVID in t￿rn3 of prOj￿t d¢liv
and has unfortunately impactsj heavily on our seNice delivery, social events and desiredlp1at￿Cd
outputs, however we in In* spirit have revised our de]ivery strategy and redI[￿ted resources to
combating the pand¢mio Our a¢tiviti¢s includd:
l) We p￿pa￿￿p￿rch8$ed a Jarge quantity of readym*k meals and dISkn￿￿ted to thos¢ most at
risk (elderly & low income families).
2) We signposted 116 people towards financial and f(K41 &8sistsnce in the defined Peri￿.
3) We assisted 6 p￿PIe to gain assislance with Universal credit and rate reb8te b￿efits.

4) We continued a volunteer "call your neighbourf, sch¢me to ¢nsure that the most vulnernble
were kept to the forefront of the community's attention.
5) We assisted 2 other local groups to fulfil their Covid efforts, through volunteers and free use
of facillties.
6) W¢ hav¢ had to launch a "Be a Volunteeff scheme to attract new volunteers as we have lost
muGh of the volunteer catAcity due to COVID and its effecty many have had to tske on new
jobs. new roles and responsibilities and are in addition to this we have lost three of our
hard¢st working volunteers to death or bereavement.

pital. The ¢omp8ny is registered with the [nIat￿ Revenue as a charitable body for taxation
purposes. Th¢ company is also registered with the Charity Commission Northern Ireland under
charity number NtC103338. The company was incorpornted on 23 November 2013 and its governing
instrument is th¢ Memorandum pnd Artieles of Association.
The governing body is th¢ board of whos¢ members aT¢ also directors for the purpos¢s of companies,
legislation. Members of the board are list¢d on page l.

The Company's accounts have been presented this year in the forniat set out as best practice by the
Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Ststement of Re¢ommend¢d Prn¢ti¢¢ applicabl¢ to clwities
accounts in the UK and Republic of Ir¢land (FRS 102).
The Statement of FinAn¢ial Activities ("SOFA") fo¢uses on showing the total tncoming resources,
both revenue and capital, whi¢h have been made available to the company during the year and the
way in which those resourG¢s hav¢ been us¢d. wheth¢r as direct charitable expenditure in wing Out
and supporting the company's activities, or in the management and administration of the company
itself. The SOFA also show those tntoming resources for the year received from sources which plac¢
restrictions on th¢ way in whieh the company can use the funds, and the level of in¢omin8 resour¢¢s
that Can b¢ used by th¢ company without restriction. within the company's charitsble objects.

In preparing these financial statsm¢nts, th¢ INstee$ are required to:
